The Department of Music at Wittenberg University wanted a poster for distribution in high schools that would “promote the university while providing a useful teaching tool.”
A celebration of music — and of the music program at Wittenberg — this poster also serves as a teaching aid, with it’s diagram of the “Circle of Fifths,” a graphic representation of the relationship between musical keys.
Eye-catching in the classroom, the poster fulfills the client’s goals: “Every time the students look at the piece … they are learning about music, but at the same time seeing Wittenberg.”
